The company is developing a small sensor that can be attached to a shoe and enables detailed movement and stress analyses. The sensor tracks daily rehabilitation exercises and shares this data with healthcare professionals, allowing them to evaluate progress more frequently. AI plays a supporting role in this process. Read more about the company in our showcase.With Motion2Load, Virtualletics and WearM.AI combine smartphone-based motion analysis with cloud-based analysis of muscle and joint strain. A smartphone video captures mobility, posture, symmetry, and balance. Smart software then translates that data into insights about movement quality and strain. This gives physical therapists, rehabilitation professionals, and coaches a more objective picture—without the need for complicated measurement setups.<h1>From idea to application through INDUSTR_I4.0 </h1>Virtualletics and WearM.AI are using the voucher to further develop Motion2Load. Virtualletics contributes expertise in digital health applications, smartphone motion capture, and software development. WearM.AI adds expertise in biomechanical modeling, cloud analysis, and digital twin technology.“Professionals can gain a quicker understanding of how a person moves and where the risks lie. This helps them provide more targeted support in recovery, prevention, and healthy working practices,” says Huawei Wang, founder of WearM.AI.Motion2Load clearly demonstrates why collaboration between Dutch and German entrepreneurs is valuable. This event also marked the midterm milestone for INDUSTR_I4.0. Entrepreneurs, experts, and partners came together to share experiences regarding digital innovation. The discussions focused on questions that many entrepreneurs can relate to: where do you start, how do you choose the right technology, and how do you prevent digitization from becoming too big or too complicated?The two INDUSTR_I4.0 breakout sessions focused on real-world applications. The key takeaway: don’t start with the technology, but with a clear problem in your business. Keep your question simple, test quickly, and find a partner who can help you move forward.The BOOST Summit in Zwolle was a close collaboration between EDIH Boost and INDUSTR_I4.0.
